Bruce Borders is a Republican member of the Indiana State Senate, representing District 45. He was first elected to the chamber in 2010. Borders earned his B.S. in Computer Science from Purdue University in 1985. He went on to work as a software engineer and IT project manager in the private sector before entering politics. Borders served on the Knox County Council from 2006 to 2010. He is involved with the Chamber of Commerce, Economic Development Corporation, Purdue Alumni Association, and Rotary Club.
