Brian F. Curran is currently serving his 3rd term in the New York State Assembly. Curran graduated from Fordham University with a degree in accounting and worked as a Certified Public Accountant before becoming Assistant Comptroller for Nassau County, New York. Curran serves on the Assembly Committee on Aging as well as the Committees on Insurance, Libraries & Education Technology, and Racing & Wagering. He has been a strong advocate for increased funding for libraries and restoring library aid from New York State.read less
