Brett F. Geymann is a native of southwest Louisiana. He graduated from McNeese State University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Environmental Science and became a professional landman in the oil and gas exploration industry. Geymann was elected as a Republican member of the Louisiana House of Representatives to represent the 35th district in 2007, and took office in January 2008. He was reelected in 2011 and 2015. Geymann serves on the House Natural Resources Committee and the House Retirement Committee.read less
