Bob M. Kressig was born in Waterloo, Iowa. He received his BA from the University of Northern Iowa. Kressig was first elected to the Iowa House of Representatives in 2004. He serves on several committees, including the Economic Growth Committee and the Local Government Committee. Kressig is a member of several professional organizations, including the State Fire Service and Emergency Response Council. He also serves on the Terry Branstad Inaugural Committee.
