Ashley Viola Gantt was born in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. She received her B.A. degree in Political Science from Louisiana State University in 2005 and her J.D. from the Southern University Law Center in 2008. Gantt has worked as an Associate Attorney and as a solo Legal Practitioner. Her legal experience includes family law, personal injury, property law, and succession law. She has also served on the Board of Directors for the Louisiana Appleseed Project for Justice and Economic Opportunity.read less
