Armando Martinez is running for Texas State Senate District 20. He was born on August 7, 1964 in San Antonio. Martinez received his B.S. in Political Science from Texas State University. He went on to earn his Master of Public Administration from Harvard University. He has served on San Antonio City Council since 2009. Martinez serves on the Economic and Workforce Development Committee. He also serves on various local non-profit boards focused on education and workforce development.read less
