Aric Y. Nesbitt was born in Lawton, Michigan. He graduated from Lawton High School, Western Michigan University and the Thomas M. Cooley Law School. He served as Lawton Village president. Nesbitt was elected as a Republican member of the Michigan House of Representatives in 2010 and served until 2014. He then served as chairman of the Michigan Tax Tribunal prior to running for Michigan Senate in 2018.read less
