Anne M. Carney was born and raised in Marshfield, Massachusetts. After graduating from Boston College, Anne worked in health care administration for nearly 20 years. Driven by a desire to increase opportunities for working families and improve access to health care, Anne decided to run for State Representative in 2004. During her time as State Representative, Anne has continued fighting to expand health coverage, grow the economy from the middle out, and make investments to strengthen the South Shore’s infrastructure, tourism economy, and workforce. She lives in Marshfield with her husband Frank. They have two adult children.read less
