Ann H. Rest is the Democratic Vermont State Auditor. She was first elected to this office in 2006. Previously, Rest served as an assistant judge in Addison County. She also served as chair of the Vermont Democratic Party from 2001-2003. Rest earned her bachelor's degree from Middlebury College. She later received her J.D. from Vermont Law School.read less
