ABOUT
Amos O'Neal is a former Democratic member of the Mississippi House of Representatives, representing District 68 from 2012 to 2016. He earned his BA in Political Science and MPA from Jackson State University. Prior to his election, O'Neal served as Executive Director of Building Blocks CDC from 2000 to 2011, and was a Housing Analyst for the Mississippi Home Corporation from 1997 to 2000. He served as Vice Chairman of the Mississippi Legislative Black Caucus in 2016. He also served on various House committees including Apportionment and Elections, Universities and Colleges, and Transportation. O'Neal did not seek re-election in 2015.read less
