Ambureen Rana is running as a Democratic candidate for District 31 of the New Jersey General Assembly. Rana has served on the Franklin Township Council since 2016. She is an engineer by profession. Rana has spent her career working on transportation and infrastructure projects. She is focused on issues such as infrastructure investment, environmental protection, education funding, healthcare access, and affordability. If elected, Rana would be the first Muslim woman to serve in the New Jersey legislature.read less
