Alex Zimmerman is running for Wisconsin State Assembly District 97. He is a 5th generation, life-long resident of Eau Claire and rural Eau Claire County. He has served as Regional Development Director for the Governor. He drove economic development initiatives and worked directly with businesses and local officials on a variety of projects. His career has focused on public service, economic development and small business growth. He founded a tiny home and ADU company, created jobs and increased the availability of affordable housing. He also co-founded a nonprofit promoting quality early childhood education. He is now pursuing opportunities in the private sector to gain experience with budget constraints and bottom-line accountability.read less
